When a seal is dimension-driven, RB000493 is specified as an O-ring with a 35 × 3 mm size and is listed for ETX 150 crankcase applications (2014). It’s intended for static sealing where correct compression prevents oil seepage or pressure loss across a joint.
The main spec advantage is standardization: the defined 35 mm ID and 3 mm section ensures predictable squeeze in the matching groove. Avoid over-stretching during install, and check the groove for nicks or casting flash that can cut the rubber under clamp load.
