Front-end alignment starts at the axle, and AP8125388 is the front wheel spindle used on Aprilia AF1 Futura 125 and RS 125 variants (listed across 1990–2005 applications, including 122cc/123cc engine groupings). It’s a primary structural fastener that carries wheel loads through the fork legs while clamping the bearing stack to the correct preload.
A bent or worn spindle often presents as persistent bearing issues, brake disc runout symptoms, or fork binding after tightening. Replace any damaged pinch hardware and confirm the fork-leg clamp faces are clean and parallel so the axle seats without side-loading.
