A precision spacer for axial clearance control, CM157104 is a 1.8 mm thrust washer used in gearbox or drivetrain assemblies across several small-capacity Piaggio Group platforms (including RS 125/RS4 125 and SX/RX 125 E4 gear assembly listings). Its thickness is specified to manage end-float and distribute axial load correctly between rotating components and housings.
When rebuilding gear stacks, measure wear surfaces and confirm the required washer thickness rather than reusing a scored or heat-discoloured washer. Replace if you see grooving, burrs, or signs of metal transfer that can contaminate oil and accelerate bearing wear.
