Fuel level control in the float bowl relies on a clean shutoff at the inlet, and AP8206796 is the GA210 needle valve specified for several Piaggio Group 50cc carburettor setups (Area 51, Rally 50 Air/H2O, Sonic 50 Air, SR 50 Air/H2O, 1995–2007 coverage). It’s the metering valve that seals against the seat as float height rises, preventing overflow while maintaining stable bowl level.
Typical replacement triggers are flooding, fuel dripping from the overflow, or inconsistent mixture caused by a valve that sticks or doesn’t seal. Always evaluate the seat condition and float height at the same time; a worn seat or incorrect float setting will reproduce the same symptoms with a new valve.
