Sitting in the Caponord cooling circuit, AP8144197 is the OEM cooler–thermostat pipe specified for ETV 1000 Caponord model years 2001–2007. It’s a dedicated formed pipe that maintains the intended hose routing and clearance around the engine and thermostat housing.
On these bikes, aging coolant plumbing usually fails at the bends or clamp lands, so replacement is best done with fresh clamps and a close look at the thermostat spigots for corrosion or burrs. After refit, pressure-test the system and confirm there’s no chafe against frame members or adjacent wiring.
