Motorcycle Spare Parts only sell genuine spare parts made by each manufacturer. The Lh Air Intake part has been manufactured by Piaggio and is brand new and dispatched in its original packaging.
Airbox ducting on RXV/SXV models relies on correct left-right symmetry to seal and feed the airbox properly, and AP9100587 is the OEM left-hand air intake listed for RXV/SXV 450–550 variants (including Street Legal and special editions, 2006–2011). It’s the LH intake component shown in airbox diagrams rather than a universal snorkel.
Replace it if mounting tabs are broken, the sealing lip is distorted, or the duct has been heat-warped, as leaks here can change fueling behaviour. Confirm the duct seats evenly against the airbox and that clamps or fasteners pull it down without twisting.
