Bent bars on SR 50s usually show up as uneven control angles or clamp slip, and AP8218638 is the coated handlebar assembly used on several SR 50 variants including SR 50 carb MY and SR 50 H2O NEW (Di-Tech / IE+Carb.), with listings up to SR 50 R H2O 2T E4 (2018). It’s supplied as the bar itself, intended for direct transfer of perches, switches, grips, and housings.
During install, align the bar at the clamp marks and confirm full lock-to-lock without hose stretch or cable pinch. If the prior bar was overtightened, check clamp blocks for scoring and confirm the control perches can torque without rotating.
