Cooling circuits rely on hard-pipe geometry, and AP8144075 is the thermostat-engine pipe listed for the SL 1000 Falco (2000–2003). It’s the formed coolant transfer pipe between the thermostat housing and engine-side connection points, built to match the Falco’s V-twin packaging and hose routing.
Pipe replacement usually follows corrosion, impact damage, or stubborn leaks that persist after hose and clamp work. When reinstalling, use fresh O-rings or seals where specified and inspect hose ends for hardening, since old hoses can weep even on a new pipe.
