In the footrest/frame area on multiple Piaggio Group platforms, AP8134857 is the OEM plate used across a broad set of models (listed 2003–2018), including Scarabeo 250/300/400-500 Light applications and several Moto Guzzi 1400 variants. It serves as a structural mounting plate where bolt pattern and thickness control alignment of attached hardware.
When changing plates, pay attention to fastener grade and any spacers or bushings in the stack, because they set the final angle and load distribution. If the original plate was bent from an impact, verify the mating surfaces on the frame or hanger aren’t also distorted.
