The Vord. Verkleidung is a genuine spare part manufactured by Piaggio so you have peace of mind the Vord. Verkleidung part being sold by Motorcycle Spare Parts is both original and new.
Front fairings are more than cosmetics on an RSV4, and 2H001712000XHB is the OEM front fairing (“Vord. Verkleidung”) supplied in grey for RSV4 1000 RR variants listed around 2017–2018. It’s a complete front body panel built to the OE mounting geometry so headlight/duct alignment, fastener spacing, and panel gaps remain correct.
Before installation, check the condition of captive nuts, rubber grommets, and any duct seals that interface with the fairing, since those parts dictate final fit and vibration control. If you’re replacing after a hit, verify the sub-brackets aren’t tweaked, otherwise the new fairing will preload and crack at the mounts.
