As the primary loom for the V4 platform, 2D000302 is the OEM main wiring harness (Hauptverkabelung) used across multiple RSV4 and Tuono V4 1100 models listed for 2017–2018. Connector housings, branch lengths, and routing points are built around the factory layout, which is critical on bikes with dense packaging and multiple ECU/sensor interfaces.
Harness replacement is mostly about routing discipline: follow the original clip points, keep strain relief intact, and avoid pinch zones at the headstock and subframe. Before final assembly, do a full function check for CAN/diagnostic communication, lighting loads, and charging output to catch a missed connector while access is still easy.
