Model Description
Suzuki’s latecomer to the big retro roadster fashion in 2001 (Yamaha’s XJR1200 had been around since 1994) may have been last of the breed, but it was arguably also the best. The big 1402cc engine was smooth and super-torquey; its man-sized, twin shock chassis more composed than most and it was good-looking (especially in corporate Suzuki blue and white); decently equipped and classily put together as well. The only downside was that it was killed off early – by tightened emissions regulations in 2006. Good used ones are still in strong demand today.
