The RB000495 valve cover gasket gives ETX 150 engines the correct sealing profile around the cover perimeter. Its shape matches the factory groove, preventing oil mist from escaping during hot running or after repeated heat cycles.
A fresh gasket is the right call when servicing the head or addressing seepage from hardened rubber. Using the OEM piece ensures consistent compression without over-torquing the cover bolts to compensate for a poor seal.
