Engine-area screws are often chosen for head profile and length to clear internal castings, and B013349 is listed as an OEM screw used on Caponord 1200, Dorsoduro 1200/900, and Shiver 900 crankcase diagrams (2010–2018 coverage). It’s intended as the correct fastener for that specific joint rather than a generic substitute.
Replace fasteners that show head rounding, thread galling, or corrosion, especially around crankcase covers where sealing depends on even clamping. Use the correct torque and tightening pattern to avoid distorting mating faces.
