Inside the transmission selector mechanism, AP9150073 functions as the lock plate that stabilizes the selector system on models including RXV/SXV 450–550 and select Dorsoduro and Caponord variants. It interfaces with the shift drum and related components to control selector movement and indexing.
Wear or deformation of this plate can contribute to vague shifting or missed engagement under load. Replacement is typically performed during gearbox inspection or when resolving persistent selector instability rather than as a standalone service item.
