Motorcycle Spare Parts only sell genuine spare parts made by each manufacturer. The Collar part has been manufactured by Piaggio and is brand new and dispatched in its original packaging.
Where a bolt clamps through a bushing or bracket stack, the collar sets the effective clamping length, and AP9100706 is the OEM collar listed for MXV 450 Cross (2008–2010). It’s a sleeve-style spacer that prevents over-compression of adjacent parts while keeping alignment true.
Replace it if the bore is worn oval, the ends are peened, or corrosion has reduced its effective length. During assembly, make sure the collar sits square and that the joint pivots freely before final torque.
