The Front Brake Light Sw. is a genuine spare part manufactured by Piaggio so you have peace of mind the Front Brake Light Sw. part being sold by Motorcycle Spare Parts is both original and new.
Mounted at the front brake master cylinder/lever assembly, AP9100418 is the front brake light switch used across RXV/SXV 450–550 variants (2006–2011 listings). It provides a defined on/off actuation point to trigger the rear stop lamp with minimal lever travel.
Fit it when the brake light is intermittent, stays on, or needs excessive lever movement to trigger. Confirm connector style and harness routing, then verify switch timing after bleeding so lever free play and switch actuation aren’t fighting each other.
