Locating pins are easy to overlook until a component won’t seat square, and AP9100082 is listed as a “drift” for RXV/SXV 450–550 applications including Street Legal variants and special editions (2006–2011 coverage). In OEM terms this is typically a drift pin/dowel-style piece used to locate or align parts consistently in the relevant assembly.
Replace it if it’s mushroomed, bent, or shows fretting, as that can throw off alignment and load fasteners unevenly. When assembling, make sure the pin seats fully in its bore and that mating parts slide together without being pulled in by bolt torque.
