In the clutch actuation hardware on the Pegaso Strada/Trail 650 IE, AP8520086 is the specified return spring that restores the external release lever to its rest position after actuation. It’s listed for 2005–2009 fitment and is used to maintain consistent lever return, free play, and full clutch re-engagement at the mechanism.
A weak or distorted spring can show up as inconsistent bite point or incomplete return at the arm, especially when combined with dry pivots. Install with the correct orientation and check the lever arm and pivot for corrosion or notching before putting the system back under load.
