Instead of metal fasteners, AP8220471 is the OEM plastic rivet used to retain body panels and related plastic components across multiple platforms, including Leonardo and Scarabeo variants (models listed 1999–2012). It’s the right fastener when you need a reusable, quick-release panel fixing that won’t mark paint or corrode.
These rivets only hold properly when the panel holes aren’t ovalled and the rivet body isn’t fatigued. If you’re chasing panel buzz, replacing worn rivets in sets often fixes the issue faster than adding washers or tightening nearby screws.
