Motorcycle Spare Parts only sell genuine spare parts made by each manufacturer. The Footrest Rubber part has been manufactured by Piaggio and is brand new and dispatched in its original packaging.
A worn footrest pad becomes obvious under wet boots, and AP8220276 is the OEM footrest rubber used on Scarabeo 50 2T (Minarelli engine) applications listed from 1993–2006. It restores the intended contact texture and damping at the foot contact point.
Fitment is straightforward, but prep matters: clean the carrier surface so the rubber seats fully and doesn’t migrate. If the metal/plastic carrier is distorted, correct that first or the insert will work loose again.
