On scooters where the rear brake is operated from the left handlebar, AP8218289 is the specified control assembly for Rally 50 H2O models produced between 1996 and 1999. Lever geometry and pivot dimensions are matched to the original setup.
This assembly interfaces with the stock brake actuation system, preserving lever feel and travel. Replacement is appropriate when wear at the pivot or damage from tip-overs affects smooth operation.
