When the SR 50 Air cluster starts losing illumination, skipping speed readings, or taking on moisture, replacement is usually faster than repair, and AP8212793 is the complete dashboard assembly for SR 50 AIR (1997–2001 listing). It’s supplied as the full instrument unit, so housing, lens, and mounting points match the original dash interface.
Before closing up the front cover, check connector engagement and harness routing so the loom isn’t tensioned at full lock. If the old unit failed from water ingress, confirm the dash surround seals and fastener torque so the replacement doesn’t repeat the same failure mode.
