Mechanical starting systems rely on spring tension for reliable lever return, and the AP8206827 kickstarter spring provides that force after engagement. Its coil rate is matched to the lever geometry used on small-displacement engines.
This spring is fitted to Sonic 50 Air and H2O models produced from 1998 to 2008. Loss of tension or corrosion typically results in incomplete lever return.
