On Scarabeo Light front body assemblies, AP8179948 is the chromed support frame that carries the load from the front fairing and related mounting points on Scarabeo 250 Light E3 and Scarabeo 400/492/500 Light (2006–2008). The chromed finish adds corrosion resistance in a high-spray area while keeping the bracket geometry rigid around the headstock/fairing interface.
If the front plastics no longer sit square, or you’re seeing cracked tabs from a tweaked support, replacing the frame restores the original mounting plane and hole spacing. It supersedes earlier versions like AP8179089, so it’s the correct choice when updating older assemblies to the current OEM reference.
