Body alignment on the RSV depends on the side panels locating properly, and AP8179456 is the LH rear fairing in grey listed for RSV 1000 (2004–2008). It’s a left-side rear body panel designed to match the OEM seam lines and mounting points around the tail and mid-fairing interface.
Install is best done with adjacent panels loosely fitted first, then tightened in sequence so the panel isn’t forced into position. If the bike has been down, check rear subframe tabs and clip points, since misalignment there will show up as uneven gaps and stress around fastener holes.
