In the Pegaso Strada/Trail 650 IE rear suspension and chain adjuster system, AP8161028 is the OEM adjustment bush used as a locating and spacing element at the swingarm/pivot hardware. It supports alignment of the swingarm relative to the pivot pin and adjuster components on 2005–2009 applications.
Correct bushing geometry is what keeps the adjuster running square and the pivot hardware loading evenly. Inspect the mating sleeves, seals, and the swingarm pin for fretting or galling before installation, since wear elsewhere will quickly degrade a new bush.
