Small trim parts often serve as impact buffers and alignment pieces, and AP8158919 is the left-hand bumper in black used across Scarabeo Rotax models and related Piaggio-engine Scarabeo front shield assemblies (1999–2006 listings). It is a side-specific bumper/trim element intended to restore the factory interface at the front body area.
Because trim pieces are easy to mis-seat, confirm the mating surfaces are clean and that the locating features engage fully before final fastening. If the old bumper tore out, inspect the receiving points for cracks so the new part isn’t installed into damaged plastic.
