On the right side of the rider triangle, AP8146503 is the RH front footrest guard listed for RSV 1000 and RSV 1000 Tuono (2003–2009). It’s a protective trim/guard component around the footrest area that manages contact points and shields nearby parts from boot wear and minor impacts.
Mounting points and alignment are what define correct fit; a guard that’s slightly twisted can interfere with footpeg operation or rub the exhaust/heat shielding depending on the setup. After installation, verify peg travel and clearance through the full movement range.
