On the rear suspension mount stack, AP8134874 is the shock absorber plate listed for Aprilia Atlantic 500 (2001–2004). This plate acts as a structural interface at the shock mounting point, spreading load and maintaining the correct mount geometry under suspension travel.
If the plate is deformed or corroded, you can see changes in shock alignment, uneven bushing wear, or mounting bolt fretting. Replacement is straightforward, but it’s worth inspecting the shock eye bushings and mounting bolts so the new plate isn’t clamped against worn interfaces.
