In front fork and hub/sleeve stacks, AP8123910 is an OEM bush used across multiple Piaggio Group platforms, including Aprilia Leonardo 250 (Yamaha engine variants), Scarabeo 125–250 (Rotax and Piaggio engine variants), Aprilia Atlantic ranges, and Derbi GPR 50 applications (model coverage listed from 1997–2012). It’s a dimension-critical sleeve component intended to control fit between the axle/hub hardware and the fork interface, limiting play while keeping the assembly free-moving.
Bushing wear typically shows up as looseness at the wheel/fork interface, uneven bearing loading, or accelerated wear marks on spacers and sleeves. When replacing, it’s worth checking the mating axle surfaces and any adjacent spacers for grooving or fretting so the new bush isn’t loaded off-axis.
