Crush-type sealing washers like AP8123816 are specified anywhere hydraulic or oil pressure must be contained without thread sealant. This washer is commonly fitted at brake banjo bolts and oil drain points on Aprilia RS 50, RS 125, Scarabeo, and multiple Piaggio Group platforms.
Produced in copper or aluminium depending on batch, it deforms predictably under torque to create a fluid-tight seal. Replacement is recommended whenever the joint is disturbed to avoid seepage or pressure loss.
