Installed within the steering assembly, the washer AP8121454 is documented for Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord models from 2001 to 2007. It distributes axial load evenly across steering components while maintaining correct spacing within the headstock assembly.
Washer integrity is important during bearing service, as wear or compression can alter steering preload. Reuse of deformed washers often results in inconsistent torque readings and premature bearing wear.
