Exhaust mounts on the RS platform use dedicated retainers to control movement without fretting the canister, and silencer clip AP8102432 is the OEM metal clip specified across RS 125, RS 125 Tuono, RS 50, and RS 50 Tuono fitments. Its formed profile and spring tension are designed to hold the silencer hardware securely while tolerating vibration and thermal cycling.
Replace it when the clip has lost tension, shows corrosion at the contact points, or has been bent during exhaust removal. Proper seating against the silencer mount and correct fastener stack prevents rattles and reduces stress on the silencer bracket.
