Specified as an M8×20 TCEI socket head cap screw, AP4ADN000294 is used wherever the Piaggio Group drawings call for this length and head style, including Scarabeo 125–200 “Light” variants in the ignition unit hardware group (2007–2011). The phosphated finish is aimed at stable clamping and basic corrosion resistance in typical under-panel locations.
Head type and length matter on these assemblies because tool access and standoff are designed around the OEM fastener stack. Match the original washer/seat arrangement and use the torque and thread treatment (dry or threadlocker) shown in the diagram for that mounting point.
