The Cover is a genuine spare part manufactured by Piaggio so you have peace of mind the Cover part being sold by Motorcycle Spare Parts is both original and new.
CVT contamination shows up as belt dust buildup and accelerated roller wear, and AP3MEA000715 is the OEM cover used to close off the variator/belt area on the listed SR/Scarabeo 50 DiTech models. OEM fit is the advantage because sealing edges and fastener alignment affect how well the cover stays square and vibration-free.
MSP lists it for Scarabeo 50 DiTech and SR 50 H2O DiTech variants (2000–2007). Confirm that any cooling ducts or snorkels are present and correctly seated; missing ducting can raise CVT temperatures even when the cover itself is new.
