Mechanisms that use plungers are sensitive to stick-slip and play, and 890391 is the complete left-hand plunger assembly specified for Dorsoduro 750 ABS across the listed 2008–2016 range. Supplied as an assembly, it avoids mixing worn internal elements that can cause inconsistent engagement.
Before replacement, confirm the fault isn’t contamination or a bent mounting point, since those can mimic a worn plunger. After installation, verify smooth travel through the full range without binding at the end stops.
