Small plates in the oil circuit do real work, and BY-PASS plate 878401 is the OEM plate used in the oil pump/bypass system on Caponord 1200 and Dorsoduro 1200 applications. The machining and sealing faces are matched to the housing so flow control and sealing integrity remain as designed.
If the plate is scored, warped, or damaged during disassembly, replacement helps avoid pressure anomalies and internal leaks. Pair it with the correct gasket/O-ring set and verify mating surfaces are clean and flat.
