Sealing stackups on the Mana platform rely on gasket thickness as much as the outline, and gasket 872509 is the OEM sealing component specified for NA 850 Mana and Mana GT applications. It’s produced to the correct profile and compressibility for the mating surfaces in its circuit.
Use a fresh gasket whenever the joint is opened, especially if the original shows flattening, tearing, or heat hardening. Clean both mating faces carefully and avoid over-torqueing fasteners, which can pinch the gasket and create leak paths.
