Seat-cowl graphics on the RSV platform are not generic vinyl strips, and saddle cover decal 860100 is the specific piece listed in the RSV 1000 saddle/seat cover diagram for 2004–2008 bikes. The adhesive backing and print finish are intended to match the rest of the OEM livery set rather than stand out with a different gloss level.
Use it when you’re restoring a single worn marking without redoing the entire graphics kit. Apply only after paint has fully cured and avoid aggressive solvents during cleaning to keep the edges from softening.
