Motorcycle Spare Parts only sell genuine spare parts made by each manufacturer. The Stop Ring D 17 part has been manufactured by Piaggio and is brand new and dispatched in its original packaging.
Internal drivetrain and chassis assemblies rely on positive axial retention, and stop ring 857108 (D17) is specified for several RSV4 and Tuono V4 applications. Its diameter and spring tension match the grooves used in these high-load assemblies.
Always replace stop rings when removed, as reusing fatigued clips can compromise retention. Proper seating in the groove should be visually confirmed during assembly.
