The 853608 Y-union is a precision-formed exhaust junction used on RXV/SXV 450–550 engines. Because these high-revving twins generate substantial exhaust flow and heat, the Y-union must maintain perfect sealing and alignment between header sections. Riders who tune or rebuild these engines often replace this piece to maintain proper backpressure and prevent leaks at the merge point.
