Heat protection panel 853419 is the specified shield used on Shiver 750 and Shiver 750 GT rear-body assemblies where exhaust/engine heat needs to be managed near surrounding plastics and mounting points. It’s built as a dedicated barrier component rather than a generic adhesive film, so it fits the intended mounting position and coverage area.
Replace it if the original is warped, cracked, or missing after exhaust work, as gaps here tend to show up as localized heat damage on adjacent trim. When fitting, confirm it sits flat with no contact against hot sections and that any spacers or fasteners used in the stack are present to maintain the designed air gap.
