Connecting the piston to the small end bearing, 847012 is the OEM piston pin used across numerous Aprilia and Derbi small-capacity engines from 1998 to 2018. It replaces earlier part numbers 00H02502121 and ODN00H02502121 found in older engine listings.
Correct pin diameter and surface finish are critical for oil film stability, particularly in high-revving 2T applications. Always verify bearing condition and circlip engagement during assembly, as failure at this joint is typically catastrophic.
