Some mounting points use non-standard shoulder lengths, head forms, or thread engagement to control alignment, and special screw 833053 is one of those application-specific fasteners used across platforms like GP 800 and NA 850 Mana/Mana GT (2007–2015). It’s intended for the exact joint specified in the parts diagram, where a generic bolt can bottom out or clamp the wrong surfaces.
When a “normal” screw works loose repeatedly or marks a casting, the fastener spec is often the culprit rather than torque alone. Use the correct washer stack (if specified) and seat the head squarely to avoid side-loading the mount.
