The Cylinder Gasket Kit is a genuine spare part manufactured by Piaggio so you have peace of mind the Cylinder Gasket Kit part being sold by Motorcycle Spare Parts is both original and new.
The top-end gasket kit 497148 includes the required seals for reassembly of the cylinder and head on small-displacement four-stroke engines. Materials are chosen to withstand combustion pressure and thermal cycling.
This kit replaces AP8551001 and is used on 50cc–100cc Piaggio and Aprilia engines, where maintaining compression integrity is mandatory after top-end service.
