The Piaggio frame fixing plate 2R000474 supports alignment points on RX125 and SX125 frames, sitting against the chassis where loads are transferred between frame and hardware. This plate appears in factory frame diagrams and gives technicians a known reference surface when rebuilding after crash repairs or major bodywork removal.
Plates that have warped from stress or vibration can introduce small misalignments that later show up as rattles, uneven panel gaps or hard-to-align hardware.
