Serving as a vibration and impact damper, this rubber buffer with part number 2B004410 is installed on Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 E4 ABS and Shiver 900 ABS models from 2017 to 2018 within the Kayaba front fork area.
The elastomer compound absorbs localized contact forces and limits metal-to-metal impact. Hardened or missing buffers can transmit shock loads into surrounding components.
