Mounted on the left side of the engine, the gear shift lever identified as 2B004225 is used on Aprilia Shiver 900 ABS and Shiver 900 E4 ABS models from the 2017 model year. It interfaces directly with the shift linkage to transmit rider input to the transmission selector shaft.
Lever geometry, pivot bore tolerance, and spline alignment are matched to the OEM shift mechanism to maintain consistent throw and engagement feel. Bent or worn levers commonly cause missed shifts or uneven selector travel, making dimensional accuracy critical during replacement.
