Part number 2A000872 is an intake valve bucket tappet used in the cylinder head of Aprilia RSV4 1100 engines. It transfers camshaft motion to the valve via the shim system.
Accurate dimensions are critical for maintaining valve clearance and cam timing. It is replaced during valve train service or when wear is detected.
